Ordered new in New Hampshire by its first owner and delivered at the Porsche factory in Stuttgart under the Porsche Tourist delivery program in February of 1983, this beautiful Targa stayed in the same household for almost 20 years before passing on to its second caregiver who also meticulously kept it for another 21 years.
It comes full with three keys including the red main key, full set of owners manuals, production commission UVT041T02, purchase agreement and extensive service records showing a fastidious care and maintenance throughout its operational life since manufactured. Included with the records, you will also find folded in the pristine paper floor matt that was on the driver side when delivered in Stuttgart, which ads a phenomenal memento to the historic record of this Super Carrera.
The overall appearance of the car reflects the condition expected from a car with such stack of paperwork. Paint looks great all around, the interior is also in excellent condition where even the dash cover is straight, free of cracks and shrinkage. Start up is immediate on cold and warm conditions and power output is experienced through a strong and linear powerband which makes the 3.0 SC such a great engine. The 915 transmission works very well as well and goes through the all gears perfectly without any grinding or hesitation from the clutch. Mechanically it is unmolested and all stock. The AC is all original and maintains its factory York compressor.
Undercarriage is amazing, free of rust and shows that it has always been professionally handled by qualified technicians and not DIY amateurs.
