1996 BMW E36 M3 Coupe
Available now is this very well sorted arctic silver Slick top euro E36 M3. This is one of the most sought after E36s because of the Euro S50B32 motor paired to a 6 speed manual transmission and having no sunroof being one of the lightest models available. Body is in excellent condition, paint presents nicely with a few minor scuffs but no major dents dings or scratches. This car has never been involved in any accident and is rust free. The stance on the car is achieved by ARC adjustable coil overs with swift springs. Fitment of the MoTec wheels looks great and is very functional without any rubbing on the fenders. All Euro cars come with glass headlights these have been fitted with angel eyes a common upgrade for aesthetics. The hood carbon fiber and vented from the world renown company Varis. Front bumper has some canards installed and lower splitters. The rear spoiler is a Evo type spoiler. Rounding out the exterior is the DTM Style dual exhaust tips which is period correct.
Interior has been modified and upgraded in several ways. The first upgrade are the bucket seats installed to provide a lighter option and to better hold both driver and passenger in spirited driving. The driver side is a Bride bucket while the passenger side is a Sparco Evo bucket with appropriate sliders. These seats eliminate the problematic Vader seats which are famous for falling apart and generally a very difficult seat to upkeep. A rear seat delete has been performed and a 6 point roll cage has been added for better rigidity. The roll cage is non intrusive and has removeable sidebars. Door cards are both in good shape and are the factory black door cards. When you get in the driver seat you are immediately greeted by the upgraded MOMO steering wheel. Behind the wheel are 2 Cusco gauges mounted by a gauge pod on the steering pillar. One gauge displays oil temp gauge, one is a water temperature gauge. Radio has been replaced with a upgraded head unit however it is on Japanese frequency and will need to be changed if you wish to listen to North American stations. In the trunk area is a full size spare ds2 wheel as well as most of the factory tools present in the tool tray.
Engine is the Euro S50B32 which from factory produced 321HP. The euro S50B30 and S50B32 represented engine technology that was leaps and bounds beyond what most affordable vehicles had at the time of production. With single and dual VANOS variations making exceptional power, the Euro model E36 M3 had the performance and reliability to make it a winner on and off the track. This car is also mated to a factory 6 speed manual transmission instead of the 5 speed variation the years prior. This car has individual throttle bodies which paired with the cold air intake makes phenomenal sounds. Car maintains all factory cats and exhaust sounds come from the super sprint cat back setup. Engine pulls thru all the gears very fast and smooth. Every gear engages smoothly with no grinds or issues of any kind. Clutch engagement is smooth and the car is fitted with a lightweight flywheel.
Suspension consists of ARC coil over suspension. A front Gurt racing strut bar has been added in the engine bay and a rear strut bar is in the trunk. Front suspension has camber plates for camber adjustability as well as camber arms. Brakes are factory with braided steel lines. Brakes have brass caliper guide bushings for stiffer brake pedal feel. Brake pads have been changed to Ferodo brand for increased stopping power. The car is extremely dialed in handles like its on rails. Steering rack is a closer ratio from a Z3M an aftermarket limited slip differential has been installed to make the car quicker in both a straight line and in the corners.
Car comes with all books and factory literature. There is a good amount of service history log receipts including the maintenance book dating back more than 10 years of consistent services.
