Delivered new in August of 1989 and enjoyed only for 47K miles until it was parked away and kept in a garage for over 20 years.
Upon purchase by us and inspecting this accident-free car, we decided that it deserved an open wallet refresh and cleanup, since it was in such original, unmolested parked condition.
Due to the 20 year storage the Engine was removed and proceed to have a preventive top end refresh performed at Porsche Motorsport Specialist, Marvin Gilbert Motorsport. New head, piston rings, studs and reseal was performed, including also a brand-new clutch. Fluids and fuel system, suspension, bushings were also redone to ensure top quality delivery, regardless the cost.
During its garage storage years the paint finish needed attention due to years of dust. A glass out paint job in original color was performed on this car to complete the overall show condition. VIN stickers were left intact as evidence of original panels and accident free status.
Underneath it is as impressive as on top. The floors look like when they came from factory and the drivetrain is absolutely spotless. Original D90 wheels add to the factory look that any purist collector would want.
This car looks feels and drives like what you expect from a top tier quality open wallet serviced low miles car that it is. It does offer a high end driving experience from a 964 that is practically new.
