94′ Toyota Supra Twin-Turbo (JZA80)
The fourth generation of the Toyota Supra and inarguably the most legendary. Produced at the famed Motomachi Plant in Japan, this forced induction variation of the Supra shipped with the iconic 2JZ-GTE 6-cylinder powerplant matted to the V160 manual transmission by Getrag. This example is equipped with the Sport Roof (aka Targa) making it 1 of 3,712 examples ever produced in this configuration.
This Astral Black Supra has been lightly modified for comfortable street usage. Equipped with H&R lowering springs paired with an immersive alignment allows the sports tourer to be not only manageable but very comfortable around town whilst looking aggressive. A lightly used set of Falken Azenis FK510s are wrapped around lightweight polished black Enkei wheels adding to the vehicle’s agility & overall smooth drive. For incresed performance & engine acoustics; a BPU (Basic Performance Upgrade) kit has been added accompanied by an HKS Dragger [full] exhaust system. On the exterior you will find a color matched Wings West front lip along with OEM style sideskirts & rear spats. All original paint other than the removable targa roof & hood. Supra’s normally ship with a matte finish on the underside of the hood, but the previous owner whom used the car for show purposes changed that. Inside where you will reside is an incredibly minty cockpit. A single look from the carpets to the headliner and it would appear that this Supra remained unused since it’s build date. Additionally the tidy interior is complimented by a properly situated audio system complete with a truck mounted JBL amplifier. Inside you will find an aftermarket head unit & exterior color matched trim pieces. All leather is original & has been beautifully kept.
Behind the wheel the exhaust note is at a moderate, liveable tone with zero drone (top on, or off). Given the factory turbos and right modifications, boost hits very smoothly. The suspension setup does an amazing job at keeping stability & absorbing the imperfections on the road beaneath. The Falkens provide great grip whilst a fresh brake job (pads, rotors, fluid) assist when coming to a hault. All said, the car is very friendly to drive around town with sufficient power along with a classic JDM super car aura.
