Coming soon is an excellent example of an original-style, purpose-built RWB: RWB Seattle #3 – “Yujiro”. Built in late 2016 by Nakai a for a wll known Porsche head and client of ours, Yujiro started its life as an original Guards Red Carrera 4. We purchased it from one of his clients about five years ago and just recently brought it back. Back in 2016 there were no show car RWBs on air-ride and show wheels. This was a motorsport example meaning it has a plethora of performance parts that make it suitable for aggressive street and track driving.
Starting with the powertrain setup , sound is the first sensation with this machine. A full Fabspeed RSR style exhaust was implemented that supplies the classic Porsche motorsport tone everyone dreams of. All mounting is upgraded, a drilled cup-style airbox and heater bypass make for an aggressive look in the engine bay. Tuning is taken care of by Steve Wong paired with a lightweight 964 RS flywheel that makes for quick revs.
No corners are cut when it comes to lateral grip as well. The suspension was overhauled to function with the wide wheels. Behind the 10.5/13” flat black Work Meister S1’s is a full KW V3 setup. H&R sway bars, Tarrett drop links and a Rothsport steering brace add confidence in high speed cornering.
Yujiro was built with the standard 964 Super Wide body kit and an RWB Champion wing. The original body and flares are perfectly matched in factory guards red showing little to no imperfections. 993 mirrors and RS ducting gives an updated look while upgraded RWB projectors complete the full RWB package.
The interior greets you with aggressive leather-upholstered Recaro Pole Position fixed buckets, red Schroth 6pt harnesses, a roll bar that’s color-matched to the exterior and a full Rennline interior package gives motorsport function and feel to the traditional 964 interior.
