Now available at RMC Miami is this fully restored, OEM+ ’98 E36 M3 sedan ready for a good custodian.
The car is mostly factory but has been complimented with light modifications to further enhance the already positive attributes of the E36 M3 chassis . The exterior is finished in iconic & extremely good condition Boston Green Metallic paint. Aesthetic enhancements are minimal but include clear turn signal markers on the headlights and Euro tail lights. The chrome kidney grill surrounds show no chips or fading. The sedan layout brings a gorgeous uninterrupted body line complimented by new window seals and cowels that have been recently refreshed.
The interior aesthetic compliments the exterior. Refinished in Modena Natur leather which presents tan with an orange hue, it matches the Boston Green exterior perfectly and elaborates the OEM+ setup. The seat corners retain the ///M signature blue and red stripes and all leather components including the dash are in near perfect condition
Under the hood sits an unmolested, stock S52 straight six that pulls clean to redline. The stock ZF 5-speed shifts smoothly through every gear. Regarding footwork, it’s fitted with KW V3 coilovers and magnesium BBS E88 wheels.
Overall the setup is simple and gives the E36 just enough to make it “sharp.” Every system on the car has a tight feel and the car is more than capable of being a daily driver. Functional OEM radio, ice cold AC and an easy clutch make it very easy to drive. It’s a fun, simple setup with clear street enthusiast intentions.
Regarding condition, everything on the car is fresh mechanically and aestehtically. On the interior, armrest pads, headliner, sunroof and center console were replaced in addition to the Modena interior refresh. Under the hood the coolant and power steering hoses were replaced. Drive/accessory belts were replaced and all fluids have been recently flushed. In 2021 the rear differential was serviced at 75k miles.
