This is the best 993 that I have ever driven in my life, and this statement includes 993 Supercups, 993 RSR, 993 GT2 and 993 Ruf CTR2S. The power delivery is immediate and linear, making its 600 HP aircooled engine feel as if it was naturally aspirated. On acceleration, the power output is constantly progressive and never once loses power in between gear shifts, and RPM gain make it intuitive when rev matching while downshifting. Multi disc clutch bites hard but keeps an OEM stock feel to the pedal. The transmission gearing works amazingly par to the engine output without losing momentum. It will make a lot of people with late model GT cars look bad at the racetrack.
Suspension and steering are perfectly balanced for precise handling and almost effortless cornering. It will just go wherever you point the steering wheel to. Switchable electric power steering is just a phenomenal addition that I wish I would have had back in the 90’s.
Long range tank will take you a long way on a road trip or last longer on an enduro race. MoTeC engine management is calibrated to run on premium pump gas on medium boost or 110 on high boost and tuned to perfection.
