1989 Porsche 911 Speedster 

Certainly one of the most iconic Porsche 911, the one-year-only 911 Speedster was released by Porsche in 1989, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the 911. Being also the 1st descendant of the venerable 356 Speedster, the 911 Speedster offered a windshield that was lower and more raked then that of the standard cabriolet, a thin fabric folding top and a double-hump tonneau cover replacing the back seats, giving it a far more sporty appearance then the more pedestrian 911 cabriolet. A total of just 2104 examples with Turbo Look body have been produced (171 of narrow body).

This Speedster is finished in Guards Red over a Black leather interior, perhaps the most famous color combination for this model. This particular Speedster is a Euro model delivered new in Luxemburg (one of eight delivered with Code 99) in 1989, when it was immediately passed to its first owner in Cologne/Germany. In 2012 it was sold to its second owner in Germany, who kept it until it was shipped to the US in November 2022. This Speedster is in excellent condition, the paint meters evenly throughout. The car is accident free and has a clean history. The bottom of the car is immaculate thanks to the low mileage and the good caretaking it received. The manual factory black top is like new with no rips, tears or issues. Factory Fuchs are in great condition and are equipped with new Pirelli tires date coded 2021.

The car got fully serviced over the years (starting with famous Kremer in Cologne), which is stated in the car’s service book. The car is equipped with a Catalysator, which was installed after-market, since it was delivered without from factory (Code 930/20).This Euro model is equipped with the 3.2L flat 6-cylinder engine delivering 231HP at 5’900 rpm (US model with 217 HP) and the magnificent 5-speed G50/00 gearboxThe interior presents itself in the same excellent and stunning condition as the exterior. The factory and power-adjustable sport seats, which are a rare option, are upholstered in black partial leather. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows original 54’031 km (33,500 miles), the steering wheel is leather wrapped, all gauges are in good shape, same as the impeccable door panels and carpets. The back is equipped with a luggage compartment with two lockers (Code 419).

Accompanying the car are its original Porsche sticker, a service book starting from 1989 until 2022, service invoices, owners manual, jack, spare and air compressor. A German Classic Data ‚Gutachten‘ from 2018 is accompanied as well, stating a 1- top condition of this Speedster (WP0ZZZ91ZKSS152675).
