All around, this car remains original and as specified from factory by its first owner, who took delivery in July of 1990 at the Porsche dealer in Birmingham, Alabama. In 1998 it moved to Glendale, Colorado where its second caregiver kept it for 23 years, before arriving to us in October of this year.
The beautiful Linen White interior shows in outstanding condition. The nicely soft leather on the seats and the shifter knob are free of stains, sweat marks or rips. The carpeting and door cards are also in soft and amazing condition. Steering wheel crown looks new and free of that glossy worn out appearance found in most period cars.
This 964 still sits on the stock suspension, exhaust and D90s wrapped on Bridgestone Potenzas. Wheels are free of curb rash and still hold the factory wheel locks.
This car has been collector owned all its life and kept away from the snow and salt. Underneath it’s spotless, free of road rash or corrosion. The original factory cosmoline still wraps around the bottom of the car, still providing a protective coat. The floors have never been bottomed out. The zinc plating on the engine and hardware around the body retains its like-new gold brilliance all around the car. Glass is all original since new, free of scratches of chips.
The paint meter readings show also original around the car and some spot work done in period on the front hood, to correct some rock chips.
The new caregiver will receive owner’s manual, tools, collapsible spare wheel, compressor, and a spotless Carfax.
