Time Attack Inspired Aero

Spirited for the street.

This NA1 stems from a blend of perfectionary thoughts on how to assemble one of the most proper road cars into a personalized, further motorsport inspired, street machine.  What better way to do this than to mesh in a bit of racing ingenuity?  The latter of which comes from one of the most successful time attack NSX’s in the states, the FXMD unlimited class machine which wears the aero kit that this very machine rocks but in street guise, with all in-cabin creature comforts.  The widebody is tastefully executed, following factory function and styling with a newfound muscular appearance.  The wider track changes road behavior in a positive notion, applying a sort of reinforced stance to the NSX as it goes down the road.  It gives the apperance of a buff NSX-R, particularly with the spoiler.

A Drivers Dream

Mechanically stout.  Properly upgraded.

The right modifications were chosen to make this NSX an anti-intimidating drivers machine.  Straight to the meat, you will find a JDM Type-R short gear set from Science of Speed (4.23 final drive kit).  This paired with a clutch & lightweight flywheel [also from SoS] results in excellent efficiency of the C30a’s power delivery to the rear wheels.  Assisting with road behavior is a set of Tein adjustable coilovers.  A Dali exhaust system along with Mishimoto carbon intake wraps up the experience quite well, placing a visceral cherry on top.  Whether it’s a night drive on some twisty b-roads, or a weekend plunge to your local track, the car is a truly proper tool.

Condition

Transparency.

This NSX has had a good history given proper caretakers, and was always known as the Satin Black Auto-X car.  The Mica Yellow color chnage was a great idea however, we are not particularly enthused with the execution and have reflected when pricing the vehicle.  In it’s current state the vehicle is presentable, and suits a car ready to be driven hard & enjoyed, but to take it to the next level we would reccommend refreshing the aesthetics and/or, going your own route.  Mechanically, this car is nothing short of a treat.

As reflected on Carfax, I9 years ago in 2004, this NSX ran over a curb damaging some suspension components, all of which have been replaced/upgraded. The vehicle runs great with 100% functionality.  All of this has been documented on NSX Prime & the title is clean.
