2006 Porsche 911 Carrera S only 27k Miles!
Available now is this stunning low mileage 997.1 Carrera S. Bought new in California in 2006 the car has spent every day of its life in California until we recently purchased it and shipped it to Miami Florida. The color combination is highly desirable and rare with seal gray exterior and Terracota special leather interior. Paint is in near showroom condition, the front clip has paint protection film on the front bumper, hood front fenders and mirrors to protect from road debris and rock chips. Paint meter shows the car to be all original paint reading 6mm thickness on all metal panels. The parts that have paint protection film measure at 14mm due to the 8mm thickness of the film itself. Features bi-xenon headlights with washers, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a deployable rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. Our 911 also maintains all original glass with a light window tint. The car has no modifications done to it at all it is 100% OEM factory. Original “lobster claw” wheels are in good condition with no major road rash and ride very smooth on older Bridgestone tires.
Interior is in great shape. The seats show like new and really pop with the contrast of the seal gray exterior. Door cards look like new and are fitted with factory optioned BOSE sound system a $1400 option. The car features 2+2 seating with folding rear backrests. Behind the rear seats is the BOSE subwoofer setup as seen in the photos. Headliner comes from factory in Alcantara and is in mint condition. 3 spoke Porsche steering wheel has aluminum bits which match all the aluminum accents in the interior including the Carrera S door sills. A central tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The odometer indicates 27k original documented miles. Matching carpets are protected by embroidered floor mats, and features include automatic climate control, cruise control, and Bose audio. Stereo buttons have some minor wear typical of the 997 generation.
The 3.8-liter M97 flat-six features dry-sump lubrication and was factory rated at 355 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Porsche IMS bearing issues were less than 1% on late 05/ production are bulletproof. IMS issues caused by low oil pressure has been addressed in 2009 at 13k miles with a engine out service at Mckenna Porsche in California. The car mechanically has always been maintained at the Dealer or Porsche specialty shops since new. Engine and transmission run flawlessly. Clutch engagement is smooth and the car pulls to redline effortlessly and smoothly.
