Welcome to a very lovely example of the 997.1 C2S, featured in a very sporty Guards Red.  Return customer cars are always a treat as we’re extremely picky regarding maintenance & general upkeep.  So this is a car that we’ve known for quite a while now which is definitely a buyers advantage.

“If it ain’t broke…”

This C2S retains OEM looks with an enhanced driving experience via a few light touches.  H&R springs were fitted to the factory shocks, creating a sport yet elequent driving feel.  Firm but more than still livable.  A custom exhaust system was also fitted (retaining stock appearance) for an amazing GT car like noise, and a little extra oomph.  Brake calipers were also painted yellow for a touch of contrast.  Factory “lobster claw” wheels look perfect with the lowering from the springs.  Michelin P4s tires (27th week of 2022) in great condition also make an appearance.  Every single thing aside from the aforementioned items are stock!  It’s also worth mentioning that Guards Red accounts for 4% of all 997s ever produced, making this one even more special.

An eloquent surprise

This car is notably quick, particularly to other C2S cars we have experienced.  There is a readable tightness to the steering and road feel, thanks to H&R.  Acceleration is [seriously] swift, smooth and right to the point.  Good ol’ natural aspiration and it’s quick throttle response.  Brakes are very responsive & tight.  Best of all, the sound.  As mentioned previously, this car has N/A GT car aura to it through it’s sound.  It sings.

Condition

She’s 16!

Amazing to think this 997 is 16 years old already.  They grow so fast.  Considering it’s age, the car is in great condition.  Inside, the leather remains full of color, smooth to the touch and, conditioned.  All functions work as intended without deterioration, a common occurance on these cars.  Outside, the 911 is in great shape only having minor imperfections as to be expected with a driven vehicle of this age.
