2016 Ford Shelby GT350R
Inspired by close quartered SCCA racing comes the Ford Shelby GT350R. This example with the “R” designation is the hotter version of an already advanced Mustang. Designated for both the track & twisty roads, the GT350R comes equipped with the proper equipment for an alluring driving experience. Providing the big pony car aura paired with handling that was fine tuned at the Nurburgring. The “R” variant of the GT350 ships with special, driver focused bits such as additional aero pieces, Brembo big brakes, lightweight seats, rear-view camera delete & rear seat delete. While A/C & radio was optional, this car does have both from the factory. Additionally, this GT350R was configured with [painted] OEM carbon fiber wheels, reducing 60 lbs from the car’s overall weight. The engine is the highlight of the model as it utilizes a European inspired flat-plane 5.2l V8 interally designated as the ‘Voodoo Coyote’ powerplant. The ultra responsive engine produces 526 HP & 429 lb.ft of torque with power delivery via a crisp 6-speed manual.
