This very beautiful 1986 Porsche Carrera Coupe finished in White Gold Metallic over an elegant Burgundy interior is available now for sale.
The overall appearance of this accident and rust-free car is phenomenal all around. Paint looks deep and wet, especially under the sunlight, where usually these cars don’t look that stellar. Paint meter readings show consistent all around, evidencing the accident-free history. Some spot work has been performed on the driver door and the frunk cover, showing slightly thicker in the paint. As a US market 911, this car has the original factory “Ice cream scoop” headlamps free of fogging and the plastics in outstanding condition, free of sunlight induced crystallization. Some rock chips are present on the front bumper, but not affecting the beautiful presence.
All the lines and gaps around the body and chassis are straight and even, as you would expect from and adult owned 911. The undercarriage presents very well, original and with straight unmolested floors. The Mechanicals are also impeccable and still show the gold zinc plating and cosmoline all around. Engine and transmission are dry as well.
The all-original factory Burgundy partial leather interior presents also very well for its age. Seats are free of rips; the carpet velour looks rich and glossy, and the dashboard top is free of cracks and warping. Power windows work flawlessly, and the A/C is ice cold, even under the Florida sun. Driver seat is manual with power option for the backrest and height adjustment; passenger seat is fully manual, both fully working as intended.
To complete the 1980’s period correct spirit, this 911 rides on genuine 15-inch Fuchs wheels with the centers finished in White gold to match the body and wrapped on ultra-cool Vredestein Classic tires all dated 0819, displaying proper care and not penny saving attitudes by its previous caregiver.
A full service at a brand specialist was performed last August, including oil change, brake fluid change, and A/C flush and inspection.
Engine performance is as expected from a well kept 911. Cold startup is on sport without hesitation or smoke. Acceleration and idle are also as per indicated by Zuffenhausen and doesn’t leave any oil residues on the driveway. As on the undercarriage, all hardware and engine accessories still show the gold zinc plating around. The factory 915 transmission needs to have the synchro of second gear serviced as it requires rev-matching to engage.
Car comes complete with tool bag, jack, last service record, a spotless Carfax and a clean title.
