1971 Nissan Hakosuka Skyline 2000 GT-X GT-R Tribute
Probably the nicest C10 GTX in North America, this is a must have Skyline for any enthusiast or collector. The beautiful cream white paint was recently paint corrected and is nearly flawless with no major dents dings or scratches. The car has been upgraded to GT-R styling with fender flares, front and rear spoilers, and RS Watanabe wheels. The body is extremely straight with all even gaps and most importantly has no rust. The rear window has been replaced with plexiglass for lighter weight, the car has the iconic fender rear view mirrors. The Watanabe wheels are finished in gunmetal and are nearly flawless with extra grippy Advan Neovo tires on all 4 corners. The height is perfect and adjustable. The front and rear original suspension has been upgraded to full on coil over conversion. Rear coil overs are Bilstein.
The interior of this car looks like new. The vintage bucket seats are in perfect condition and both seats have Simpson multi point seat belt harnesses. A 3 spoke Nardi steering wheel has been installed with functional horn. All gauges are functional and work as they should. KAMEARI gauges include tachometer, water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure. The car has a fully padded roll cage installed. Ignition cutoff switch and push start button. The car has functional cold air conditioning.
It is easy to understand why this car is so iconic, and how the Skyline legend was born. Driving experience is really phenomenal. The engine delivers a great powerband and sound, the perfectly paired 5-speed transmission feels always like it’s a step ahead while propelling the car forward in a very immersive driving experience. It all works together very well. Its 2.8 liter L28 inline-six has been upgraded with triple weber carburetors, headers, Beautiful stainless steel headers and exhaust were added and provide an intoxicating noise to pair with the induction sound of the Carburetors. The Coil overs along with 15″ RS Watanabe wheels, and the Poly bushings throughout the car deliver a nimble behavior with incredible ability for cornering and precise handling. The car has upgraded Z32 brake calipers up front for better stopping power when spirited driving.
It is becoming more and more rare to find these cars in this kind of complete package. The bottom of the car is very clean. Most of these are not even for sale as Nissan enthusiasts and car collectors worldwide lust for an elusive Hakosuka in this kind of condition.
