Unlike many machines produced today, the origins of the NSX started with a list of pretty stout requirements from the Tochigi Research & Development Center – they had to develop a car that had to be easy to drive but able to outperform supercars of the time with good handling characteristics, good balance and weight, and with a limited production number. Out came a two seater aluminum-chassis sports car with a 270hp mid-engine VTEC enhanced V6, four-corner double wishbone suspension and revolutionary traction control and ABS systems. The NSX features a twin-disk clutch, dual piston calipers with ventilated disc brakes, VVIS/VTEC and a coil-on-plug ignition system which were all revolutionary for their time because of the direct derivation from true motorsport applications. Chassis and suspension tuning was rigorous at Tochigi, which explains the Formula-derived double wishbone suspension found on the NSX. endless testing was conducted at the Suzuka Circuit with the help of some of the most recognized racing drivers such as Ayrton Senna, Bobby Rahal and Satoru Nakajima.
While featuring all components needed to make a state of the art race car, the NSX had the useability of an everyday car. The interior is simple and driver-focused, inspired by the helmet of a fighter pilot. Surprisingly, the most notable feature of the NSX interior is the visibility. You notice that there’s no dash in the way of what’s in front of you on the road. Seeing around corners takes no strain as if you’re driving in a first-person point of view like a Formula car rather than inside a cabin.
Our latest example was locally owned looks like it’s straight from the Tsukuba pit lane. With extremely aggressive styling and balanced performance modifications, driving is a thrill and movement capabilities are stout.
Our newest NSX addition features balanced handling modifications which bring confidence to your aggressive driving habits. TIEN Monosport dampers ensure consistency on the road and track and when paired with a KSP limited slip differential, grip is unquestionable. Further consistency is achieved using stainless steel brake lines, upgraded front & rear brake pads and upgraded two-piece front rotors.
To match the handling capabilities of this special NSX are a pleasant assortment of powertrain and drivetrain upgrades that let the machine sing. A full exhaust system from headers back provides a deep, decibel-filled tone that pleases the ears of you and those around. To add to the consistency aspect of the build, an upgraded Koyorad radiator and supporting hoses command consistent cooling at all times.
To put it simply, this is one of the most noticeable cars on the road. From a flashy Formula Red exterior to the gasp-inducing width of this UFO and a GT wing that stands above all else. The body is a combination of TIATEC, Route K’s and Marga Hill giving a super aggressive look. Additionally, this NSX has been fitted with fixed Kouki headlights for an updated look.
Bright red Vertex x Bride Zeta IV fixed bucket seats command the interior and are complemented by carbon trim, an upgraded shift knob, an OMP-style steering wheel nd upgraded harness bar. The dash and headliner are in good condition and the navigation-equipped headunit has no blur or cracks.
