Available now from RMC Miami is this Supercharged 2003 BMW M3 with a Stage 2 VAC Motorsports built motor.
The Imola Red paint shows very nicely overall no major dents or scratches sporting a couple of small rock chips on the front bumper. The VIS Racing carbon fiber hood is in excellent shape condition with a set of carbon grilles. The carbon rear diffuser is Vorsteiner, while the carbon sideskirts and painted carbon fiber trunk is DTM Fiberworks. Carbon mirror caps have also been added and provide a nice contrast to the red paint.
Chassis has 138k miles however the car has a freshly built Stage 2 VAC Motorsports engine with receipts totaling over $25,000. Motor was built by Reza at Meister Motoring. An Active Autowerke’s Supercharger kit was added along with methanol injection setup and a flex fuel conversion. All in all, the car puts down over 530 wheel horsepower to the wheels.
All the major items on this car have been addressed including rod bearings, Vanos, and subframe reinforcement.
Car runs strong, the power band is very linear. As is with most supercharged e46 M3’s, when the car is heavily pushed, temps get a little warm but never over heats. Clutch is a Southbend Stage 3 with a lightweight flywheel (minor chatter).
The car has been properly converted to a 6-speed by Meister Motoring while the motor was being built. Shifting is enhanced by an RTD shifter which shortens shift action and provides a tight, engaging experience.
Stopping power comes from a set of 6 piston Rotora front calipers and 4 piston rear calipers, pads and Stoptech rotors. The car sits on a set of Status Gruppe Coilovers. Poly bushings all around and solid mounts connect man and machine allowing the driver to feel the road underneath.
The interior is in overall excellent condition. The dash is solid and shows extremely well. Carbon trim along the dash is in excellent condition.Stocks seats have been upgraded with a set of red leather Recaro Sportsters that complement the interior perfectly. A set of carbon fiber CSL style door cards were added over stock and provide a racy look. The rear seats have been properly deleted, a bolt in half-cage has been fitted and completes the interior.
The cluster does not have any warning lights on. The head unit has been updated to an Eonon touchscreen unit which gives much more updated look and brings it up to date with Bluetooth connectivity. Factory Harmon/Kardon sound system sounds well and has stood the test of time.
The bottom of the car is very clean, no rust anywhere. The subframe has been previously reinforced and is evident with the subframe reinforcement plates visible.
