Opening in 1999, R31 house was and still is the premier shop for the boxy sibling in the skyline family. R31 house does all things R31, from pro level D1 drift cars, to full restorations. Currently producing over 2000 parts in house there is no aspect of the R31 chassis they aren’t experts in.
The R31 that we are now offering has been the recipient of a R31 House treatment, inside and out, top to bottom the car is in great condition, with very few imperfections. The factory RB20 drive train has been replaced with a newer and more powerful RB25det out of a R33 GTST. The engine remains mostly stock with only minor bolt-ons such as the R31 House / Greddy intake manifold, blitz pod filter, and blitz front mount intercooler. The exhaust fitted to the car is an R31 house titanium cat-back, on the topic of exhaust it also has an Apex-i exhaust valve. The tone of the exhaust is great, loud enough to hear the growl of the RB but quiet enough to hear every bit of induction and turbo noise.
The exterior of the car is finished in a dark charcoal gray, the exterior modifications are a classic recipe for the R31, R31 house T5 skirts, lip and rear bumper, GTS-R rear spoiler, fender flares, and to complete the look a set of 16 inch RS Watanabe wheels. To get the right stance a set of Blitz ZZ-R coilovers. The condition of the body is very good along with the paint, very few imperfections.
Moving to the interior you are first greeted with a pair of Recaro SR3 red tomcat seats that give the perfect pop of color to the interior. A pairing of a Momo 913 special steering wheel, and an Aero k shift knob serve as the controls for the vehicle. The condition of the interior is fantastic and a genuinely nice place to be, especially with the ice cold A/C.
When you hop in and drive the car it feels like you are driving a new car, the steering is very tight and direct, having had all of the suspension gone through. Being a stock turbo the boost comes on very quickly which makes for a very fun car in normal everyday driving. Thanks to the project mu brake pads front and rear the brakes stop great. The clutch is light but has good feel, and pairs well with the transmission that shifts very smoothly.
