Available is this excellent and last of the “hand built’ BMW M5‘s. 1993 is the Facelift M5 which came with more power than any previous M5 models. Equipped with a 3.6 litter twin cam S38 motor and a 5-speed manual transmission. Clean title no accidents with documented service records for the last 24 years which includes every inspection, oil changes, transmission and engine updates.
Finished in rare Avusblau Metallic color M5 making it 1 of only 276 made during 1993! Euro updates for the 1993 North American model M5 include: M System II Throwing Star wheels, M-Technic side rear-view mirrors, Shadowline exterior trim, BMW Motorsport exterior front door handles, Birds-eye maple interior wood trim, M tri-color stitched steering wheel. This e34 M5 is deceptively new and in great shape who had a very organized and detailed owner who kept up with maintenance just makes it that much better option.
Paint overall shows very nicely with minor rock chips on hood and bumper measuring original paint except for hood and trunk lid, noted it comes with all vin stickers throughout the car minus the hood that has DOTR sticker shown in pictures. Car is completely stock with no modifications. Headlights and rear taillights work as intended. All 4 wheels are in great shape wrapped in zeon rs3-g1. All 4 doors open without issues, locking mechanism, windows and door panels are in great shape like new and go up and down as seen on pictures. Sunroof operates perfectly, opening and closing without any problems.
Moving to the engine bay you will find the powerful S38 motor in its stock form. Along many other services recorded done to this particular M5 the water pump, fan shroud, air filter, power steer, AC, alternator belt were changed also rebuilt head gasket installed. As seen on the pictures shock towers present nicely and are rust free, weather seals all around in great shape. Transmission is one of the things I loved the most while driving this car to our favorite shooting location where we took the most photos, and it is due to how easy it is to drive and shift through every gear. Suspension feels as if it is being driven off the showroom as every lower control arm has been recently replaced.
It is really incredible how well taken care of the interior in this car is starting with the beautiful steering wheel still showing the M tri-color stitched steering wheel. The seats were very well taken care of and have no major stains or rips. Cluster gauges work as they should showing accurate information. All buttons on the dashboard work which include but not limited to amazing Ice Cold AC, a must have for Florida buyers specially in our beautiful hot Miami.
A 3 inch folder will come with car as well as a printed sheet showing all records of services completed since 1998 adding up to more than $29,000 dollars in maintenance. More pictures available upon request.
