Finished in Montego blue this rare RE Amemiya AD Facer type 2 aero kit gives this car a look only people dream of owning or replicating. This “blue” really has a variety of colors from green, blue, and black hue. RE Amemiya Car Co is an automotive tuning company from Tomisato, Japan founded by Isami Amemiya. Amemiya has made a name for himself tuning rotary engines since 1974 and has become a pioneer in tuning rotary-powered Mazda. Thirty years later, first on the street and later in the Super GT series, Amemiya has left its mark in the tuning and motorsports worlds for rotaries.

Body kit includes Vented hood, RE headlights, RE front bumper, RE Flares, RE Skirts and RE Rear spoiler. The rear bumper has some clear coat peel and passenger tail light has a crack. Wheels are rare OZ Pegasus with bronze faces to contrast the Montego. Suspension has been upgraded to Apexi N1 Dampeners/ Coils. The car drives incredibly tight and smooth. The ride is fine tuned and not bumpy or harsh in anyway. Height is perfect there is no rubbing of any kind.
Interior has been upgraded with 2 Recaro seats and an 8 point bolt-in roll cage. Mounted on the center stack of the steering wheel is a Blitz boost gauge. The interior has been fitted with various RE parts which today is close to impossible to find. These parts include RE Steering wheel, RE Horn button, RE Shift knob, and RE Dash plate. In addition to those parts the driver side has been fitted with a 5 point Willans harness with RE seat belt pads. The dashboard has no gauges mounted to it and is in mint condition. Door panels present very nicely power windows function as they should. An aftermarket radio is installed with an aftermarket amp and sub in the rear hatch. This radio has Japanese FM frequency. All the gauges in the cluster work the car currently shows 65,851 actual kilometres or just over 40k miles.
Pop open the vented hood and the engine bay is beautiful. Engine is mostly stock with some bolt-on’s to increase efficiency, reliability, cooling and power out of the factory 13b Rotary engine. Factory intake has been replaced by Greddy charge pipes to allow the factory sequential turbos to breathe better. There is a Greddy intercooler as well as Greddy blow off valve. The exhaust has been fitted with a RE setup and sounds just right. Engine bay has a polished strut bar. The bottom of the car is super clean with zero rust ( Dropbox available ) No signs of any leaks or issues.
The car drives fantastic. The 13B motor is healthy, shows great vaccum and has no issues with cold or hot starts. Driving is an absolute joy, the clutch is soft and easy to operate. Gearbox is smooth has no grinds of any kind and does not pop out of gear. The unmistakable sound of the rotary motor on wide open throttle is intoxicating and is sure to put a smile from ear to ear on any enthusiasts face.
